Founded in Belgium in 1958, Cette is a hosiery and lingerie brand built on one idea: quality, not quantity. Since 2017 it has been part of Calzificio Schinelli, the Italian hosiery specialist based in Castel Goffredo, combining European heritage with Italian manufacturing.
Its mission is to create comfortable products for every body shape, with premium materials, simple designs and carefully studied fits. The range covers tights, hold-ups and stockings in everything from ultra-sheer 15 denier and classic back seams to fishnet and cosy opaques, with sizes up to 4XL. Cette is loved in 40 countries worldwide.
Founded in 1998 in Łódź, Poland, Fiore is a hosiery brand inspired by Parisian chic and Italian style. Designed for women by women, it focuses on style, femininity and the joy of looking and feeling your best.
Fiore has its own design team, and since the mid-2000s it has carried out the entire production process in its own facilities, from dyeing to finishing and packaging. Its collections are made in the EU and cover tights, stockings and hold-ups, with patterned tops, classic back seams, fishnet, opaque microfibre and plus-size options, all OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Customers in more than 70 countries shop with Fiore.
Born in Los Angeles, Leg Avenue began in 1984 when the Tsai family started selling stockings at swap meets and kiosks in the city’s downtown fashion district. Formally established as Leg Avenue, Inc. in 1999, it is still family-owned today.
From those hosiery beginnings, the brand has grown into one of the world’s best-known names in sexy legwear, with more than 300 hosiery styles from sheer stockings and back seams to fishnet and lace-top hold-ups. Its mission is simple: to help women feel confident and sexy, with innovative products at competitive prices. As its tagline says, no one does sexy better.
What Katie Did was founded in 1999 by Katie, who started with £100, a basic website and a stocking stall at London’s Camden Market, at a time when seamed stockings were hard to find. Today the brand is based in Pangbourne, Berkshire, and is known worldwide as a vintage lingerie and hosiery specialist.
Inspired by 1950s fashion, its designs combine authentic vintage silhouettes with modern comfort. The stocking collection ranges from the Glamour Seamed Stockings, made in Italy, to fully fashioned stockings knitted in Derbyshire on original 1950s machines. Its pieces have appeared in productions including The Crown, Blonde and My Week with Marilyn.
